Sunday, June 29th – Cars Under the Stars

Time: 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm

Cost: $50 per vehicle.

Highlights: Fireworks, classic cars, food trucks, live music.

Celebrate summer at Pontiac’s iconic M1 concourse during the 8th annual Cars Under the Stars fireworks spectacular. This unique event blends the spirit of the Motor City with festive fun for the whole family. Park your car right on the track, explore classic automobiles and enjoy live music. This one-of-a-kind experience is sure to make for a memorable evening — perfect for long-time car lovers and families alike!


Monday, June 30th – A Day at the Movies

Time: Varies by location.

Cost: $3.00 per ticket.

Highlights: Affordable movies, family friendly, indoors.

Beat the heat and watch a budget-friendly movie at your local Emagine Theater. Happening now through August 15th, the Summer Kids Series offers family-friendly films for just $3.00 per ticket. Start your week off on a cool and cheerful note with this affordable and fun outing.


Tuesday, July 1st – Rollin’ on the River

Time: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Cost: Free to attend.

Highlights: Beginner skate lessons, group rollouts, live DJ.

Thursday, July 3rd – Cool off at a Splash Pad

With play areas located in Ferndale, Oxford, Royal Oak, Novi and Farmington, these local spots make for the ideal place to cool down and enjoy plenty of playtime. Admission to many of these splashpads is free for community members, making this a budget-friendly way to soak up the sun.


Friday, July 4th – Clarkston’s Independence Day Parade
