XiXi Alexander: 2026 Thrive Scholarship Recipient

At Vibe, we believe leadership starts with compassion, connection, and a willingness to make a difference in the lives of others.

Through our annual scholarship program, we’re proud to recognize graduating Vibe members who are already creating meaningful impact within their communities while pursuing their educational goals.

Meet XiXi Alexander, one of our 2026 Vibe Scholarship recipients.

For XiXi, leadership means creating opportunities for others and using every experience to make a meaningful impact.

Throughout high school, XiXi has dedicated herself to serving both her local community and communities far beyond Michigan, always leading with compassion, curiosity, and determination. With more than 350 documented community service hours, she has consistently found ways to turn ideas into action and encourage others to get involved alongside her.

At Berkley High School, XiXi serves as a member of the National Honor Society and Diversity Council, where she helps create programs that bring awareness to cultures and perspectives from around the world. One initiative especially close to her heart was organizing a menstrual product drive supporting women through a nonprofit organization, helping provide access to essential resources for those in need.

XiXi has also made history in her community as the first female Eagle Scout in her city.

Earning the rank was not only a personal accomplishment, but also an opportunity to help open doors for other young women pursuing leadership roles in scouting and beyond. Through her example, XiXi hopes to encourage others to recognize their own potential and confidently pursue goals that once may have seemed out of reach.

Her passion for service extends internationally as well.

For the past three years, XiXi has volunteered as a dental assistant through Project Honduras, helping provide medical care and support to thousands of individuals in underserved communities. During one project, she also led fundraising efforts that provided children with sporting equipment, shoes, socks, and school supplies, creating opportunities for both education and play.

This year, XiXi plans to return to Honduras once again, this time supporting a women’s studies initiative focused on expanding educational opportunities within the community.

Whether serving classmates at school or supporting families across the globe, XiXi approaches every opportunity with the belief that even small actions can create lasting change.

This fall, she will attend Loyola University, continuing a journey built on leadership, service, and a commitment to uplifting the communities around her. Through every initiative she takes on, XiXi continues to show what’s possible when passion and purpose come together.
