We don’t just believe in supporting our community…we live it.
That’s why our partnership with Humble Design Detroit is something we’re incredibly proud of. Humble Design is doing life-changing work in metro Detroit by transforming empty houses into warm, welcoming homes for individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness.
Big Impact, Bigger Goals
In 2024, our team members dedicated over 127 volunteer hours at Humble Design, helping to furnish homes for those in need. But in 2025, we’re taking it to the next level!
We’re set to contribute over 820 volunteer hours, committing to monthly warehouse volunteer days and sponsoring the makeover of seven homes this year.
That’s seven individuals or families who will walk into a fully designed and furnished home, each piece selected with so much thought and care to bring comfort into each room.
In addition, each quarter, our team members will donate essential household items to ensure Humble Design homes are fully stocked with everything needed for a fresh start.
The Heart of Humble Design
Humble Design’s mission is to furnish homes for families and individuals transitioning out of homelessness and into stable housing.
With furniture and household goods donated by the community, they aim to create warm, welcoming environments that empower these families to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
Since 2023, Humble Design Detroit has furnished 154 homes, served 488 individuals, and provided 305 beds for children. Overall, since its founding in 2009, Humble has furnished over 1,800 homes in our communities.
The impact is undeniable; while up to 50% of families return to homelessness within a year of securing housing, less than 1% do when supported by Humble Design.
Empowering Communities Through Collaboration
Humble Design and Vibe share a passion for community, stability, and support. Just like we help our members build strong financial foundations, Humble Design helps families build strong homes.
Because having a safe, comfortable space to live is the first step toward long-term stability.
Through this partnership, we’re not just donating time and resources; we’re helping to break the cycle of homelessness, one home at a time.
