There is something really special about watching an idea turn into action.
For years, Vibe has supported local communities through volunteerism, sponsorships, donation drives, financial education, and hands-on service. Our team members have packed food, furnished homes, supported families, taught financial wellness classes, and worked alongside nonprofit partners who show up for our neighbors every single day.
Now, through the Good Vibes Foundation, we can take that support even further.
Thanks to the success of our inaugural fundraiser, Dinkin’ With Purpose, the Good Vibes Foundation raised $63,000 to launch its first grant cycle across metro Detroit.
That means the generosity of our supporters will be turned into direct investments in local nonprofits and community programs that are already doing meaningful work in areas such as housing, food access, and financial empowerment.
“This event was about more than raising money. It was about building momentum behind a Foundation created to uplift people, strengthen communities, and create opportunities where they are needed most,” said Stephanie Leahy, Executive Director of the Good Vibes Foundation.
She added, “It shows how Vibe’s role in the community is growing, not only as a partner, but now as a direct investor in the people and programs creating real change.”
The Good Vibes Foundation was created with a simple belief in mind: people need stability before they can truly focus on building a stronger financial future.
When someone is worried about keeping a roof over their head or wondering where their next meal will come from, long-term financial security can feel out of reach.
That is why the Foundation is focused on supporting programs that help meet essential needs while also creating opportunities for people to move forward with confidence.
The first grant cycle will support nonprofit organizations and community programs working in areas such as:
- Safe and stable housing for individuals and families
- Access to fresh, healthy food for neighbors facing food insecurity
- Financial education and empowerment programs that help people build confidence, strengthen financial habits, and work toward a more secure future
For me, this work is deeply personal.
We have spent years building relationships with nonprofit partners across metro Detroit. We have seen the long days, the heavy lifting, the creative problem solving, and the heart that goes into serving our communities. These organizations show up for people during some of life’s hardest moments, offering compassion, stability, and hope when it matters most.
This first grant cycle is a big step for the Good Vibes Foundation, but it is also just the beginning. Every dollar raised helps create more opportunities to support the people and programs working toward stronger, healthier, and more financially empowered communities.
