A Community Block Party With a Bigger Purpose 

Join us for Heatwave of Giving, a free community block party on Saturday, August 22nd, at our Southfield Branch, featuring food trucks, live entertainment, giveaways, and a chance to support Humble Design as they help local families turn houses into homes.

Event Highlights

A key focus of the event is supporting Humble Design, a nonprofit that helps local families transitioning into permanent housing create welcoming, fully furnished homes. Bring a donation of household essentials to help make a difference.













$15,000 in Grocery Giveaways & Tickets to See Ed Sheeran Live in Concert at Ford Field 

Guests who attend can enter for a chance to win a share of $15,000 in grocery giveaways, helping local families stretch their budgets and put food on the table. Attendees will also have the opportunity to experience a special live broadcast with 95.5's Kevin and the Street Team, including chances to win tickets to see Ed Sheeran live in concert at Ford Field. Vibe will also be giving out tickets to the Michigan State Fair throughout the event.



Food Trucks, Community Partners, and Financial Wellness Resources

In addition to giveaways and chances to supporting local causes, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with Vibe Credit Union team members and our community partners. We will also have local food trucks providing free snacks to attendees.
 
 





About Humble Design

 
Humble Design turns houses into homes by furnishing homes for families and individuals transitioning out of homelessness and into stable housing. We create warm, welcoming environments that empower these families to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.

The branch is located on the West side of Evergreen Rd, S. of I-696, across from the Southfield Civic Center. The address is 26595 Evergreen Road, Southfield, MI 48076. You can park in the connected parking lot for free.
You can enter the grocery giveaway by filling out our entry form on your mobile device or on a paper copy provided at the event. To enter the Ed Sheeran ticket giveaway, visit the 95.5 booth. All entries must be within the duration of the event.
You do not need to be present to win the grocery giveaway. Winners will be contacted at their provided phone number and will need to come into the Southfield branch to pick up their gift card. To win the Ed Sheeran tickets, you must be present at the time of selection. Selection will take place at the conclusion of the event.
